The Rice Building, Troy, NY
The Rice Building, a six-story structure in Troy, NY. Constructed in 1871 by Benjamin H. Hall, it originally had a sixth floor and towers that were lost in a 1913 fire. Major reconstruction took place between 1998 and 2002, fully wiring the building for high-tech firms. This marked the beginning of high-tech rewiring for renovated downtown Troy buildings.
